Decided to keep a diary again as I always wanrt to know how many times I have been out in a year. I think this was either 19 or 20 which shows how bad I am at keeping a diary. Well now I am starting again.
Bit of a suprise today as it did not look to promising but I had to go to Troon anyway to check my boat out as it had a leak I fixed last week. On arrival at S beach 2 boards out - young Ben and someone else. Rigged up 5.8 on Hifly and went out for a sail.
Pretty good, wind went a bit iffy but then picked up good and strong. A bit manic in the waves on the hifly, last few times I've been out on the wave board which is much more friendly in the conditions. Made only 4 gybes, but nearly made alot more.
Like my new waiste harness, feels more natural. Didn't blister my bad hand, takes alot of effort but worth it. Pretty warm for the time of year.
Ended up with 6 windsurfers out until it was well dark, crazy really, but the wind kept picking up.
Very enjoyable day.
